We understand that emergencies occur and sometimes unpredictable things happen.........refunds will be given if cancellations are made 14 days prior to the arrival date. With less than 14 days notice, your deposit will be refunded ONLY if we are able to re-book your room(s). If we are unable to re-book your room(s), your deposit will be applied to a future stay. Restrictions do apply. The number of guests must be the same (or less) as the original reservation, the accommodation(s) must be the same (or upgraded) and the amount of nights must be the same (or greater). This credit will be good for one year from the arrival date of your original reservation. We try to be as fair as possible and don't wish for our guests to lose their deposits. We even go a step further. In the event you are unable to stay with us within the year's time frame, you may transfer your credit deposit to another family member or a friend. Restrictions do apply. You must notify us that you are transferring your credit and sign a transfer form. The number of guests must be the same (or less) as the original reservation. The accommodation(s) must be the same (or upgraded). The amount of nights must be the same (or greater). The dates must be within the year's time frame as mentioned above. It is important to note that the cancellation policy changes from 14 days to 30 days notice during all holidays, fall foliage (September 1 through October 31), multiple (2 or more) room reservations and during any special local events, such as the Quechee Balloon Festival, Wassail Weekend, Dartmouth Reunions, The Covered Bridges Half-Marathon. Dartmouth Graduation Weekend and weddings/private events, which are held on the property, require a 3 month cancellation notice and payment in full must be made 1 month prior to check-in. With less than 3 month's notice, your deposit will be applied to a future stay unless we are able to re-book your room(s).
