WOW! I just got engaged this morning. We hiked in the White Mountains, he proposed, I said YES! Now, here I am in beautiful Christina's Cottage, enjoying champagne, soft music, yellow roses and strewn rose petals. This is the perfect place to celebrate!

Toasting to our engagement. Our hostess selected a lovely French champagne for our celebration - sparkling champagne and a sparkling diamond - doesn't get much better than this.

We arrived at the Inn to beautiful weather and magnificent views. The back lawn is the perfect place to unwind, relax and enjoy a favorite early evening cocktail. A romantic dinner on the covered porch (and we danced, as well) followed later.

Up early for a morning swim. The water is beautiful and is a perfect temperature. After a few laps, breakfast awaits us in the candlelit dining room.

Red Dog (Buddyweiser) and White Dog (Sophie) live here on the property.  Black Dog (Watson) belongs to one of our guests and is visiting for the weekend. 

Dog Paradise! What a fun place to stretch our legs and run! Life couldn't be better. The back lawn is huge and if it gets too warm, we'll cool off in the pond.

Up early to watch the spectacular take-off.  Our guests always enjoy the excitement as the hot-air balloon slowly lifts off from the backyard for an unforgettable ride that soars high above the beautiful Vermont countryside.
